Welcome to Looby's! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Looby's Mobile Oil Change Service, accessible through our mobile application and website.
By accessing this service, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Looby's service if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Service Description
Looby's provides mobile oil change services directly to the customer's home or workplace. Our service includes vehicle oil change, oil filter replacement, and a basic inspection of vehicle fluid levels. Any additional services provided will be explicitly listed in the service order.
2. Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments: Customers must schedule appointments through the Looby's mobile application or website. Available timeslots are shown real-time and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations: Customers can cancel their appointments without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time may not be eligible for a refund.
3. Payment
At the time of booking, customers are required to provide valid payment card information, which will be verified for authenticity and secured by Stripe, our payment processing partner. The provided card will be automatically charged upon the completion of the service. Looby's accepts payments via credit/debit card or other electronic payment methods as specified in the mobile application or website. All transactions are secure and encrypted to ensure the protection of your personal and financial information.
4. Communication and Marketing
Communication: Looby's utilizes SMS and app-based messaging tools to communicate with customers before, during, and after their appointment. This includes, but is not limited to, confirmation of appointment details, technician arrival times, service completion, and any necessary follow-up communication.
Marketing Communications: By providing your phone number and email address during the booking process, you agree to receive ads, promotional offers, and other marketing communications from Looby's. We respect your privacy, and you will have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving these communications at any time.
5. Service Area
Looby's operates within specific geographical areas. Please refer to our website or contact customer service to confirm if your location is within our service area.
6. Liability and Indemnification
Service Liability: Looby's is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions of the vehicle that may affect the service outcome. Our responsibility is limited to providing the oil change service with reasonable skill and care.
Vehicle Damage: Looby's assumes no liability for any damage to the vehicle that is not directly caused by our service actions. Any claims for damages must be reported to the service technician immediately or to customer service within 24 hours of the service.
Indemnification: The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Looby's and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages, and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from the customer's use of the service, violation of these terms and conditions, or infringement by any other user of the customer's account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Looby's reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time as it sees fit, and by using this service, you are expected to review these terms and conditions on a regular basis.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Looby's operates, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in said jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes.
